Obstructive sleep apnea is a very serious disorder that affects millions of people, but is highly treatable with the nightly use of nasal CPAP masks.
Patients with sleep apnea do not cycle through their sleep stages properly and as a result, their body is not able to recover and rejuvenate properly. This can make them feel groggy, unmotivated and unable to tackle the day’s events; this quickly becomes a vicious cycle and goes mostly unnoticed.
Nasal CPAP masks rest easily over the nose and mouth, and are secured around the back of the head. They provide a constant stream of pressurized air that keeps the patient’s airway from collapsing, thus eliminating the possibility of apneas.
A nasal CPAP mask, when used nightly, can significantly improve rested states, which in turn significantly improves waking states.
